- BIOGRAPHY -

Matteo is a classically trained tenor of British and Italian descent from Dorset. He is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and is embarking on a freelance recital career.

During his studies he worked with the Guildhall's Opera Department for productions of Poulenc's Dialogue of the Carmelites, Tchaikovsky's Iolanta and a world premiere of A Tale of Januarie by Julian Philips.
He has performed in venues across London including the Barbican, Cadogan Hall, St Martin’s in the Fields and Southwark Cathedral.

In the summer of 2022 Matteo joined the company of If Opera. He played the small role of Gobin for a production of Puccini's La Rondine and was involved in the productions chorus.

In 2023 Matteo will be performing a series of concerts from his home county. Through the exploration of song he aims to highlight the very essence of each season and will be including works set to poetry from Dorset.
